Kyla Secreto was born and raised in a small town near Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania. She moved to State College in 1999 to attend Penn State University.  Four years later, she graduated with a degree in Film and Video and a minor in Theatre Arts. Though Kyla always knew that her creative outlet would be in the visual arts, finding the right avenue for that proved to be a mystery.

The ultimate creative spark came from her own wedding in 2004. In addition to making her wedding dress, centerpieces and a multitude of other wedding necessities, Kyla designed her first wedding invitation.  After hearing the positive feedback from guests and being asked to design her best friend’s wedding invitation the following summer, she decided this was the business for her.

The joy Kyla gets from her work with Kalydoscope Designs provides more personal satisfaction and pride than anything she could get from 9-5 job. Nothing compares to the feeling of being part of the process of a couple’s wedding planning and providing them with the perfect invitation.
